Shelley Cares Foundation is a registered not-for-profit charitable organization guided by a mission to positively impact local communities by confronting the issue of poverty and hunger. We believe that no one should go to bed hungry. We work to achieve our mission by providing the much needed service of gathering food and distributing among those in need. We also work to raise awareness of poverty and hunger and to inspire others to help feed the community.

We alleviate hunger by providing safe, nutritious and culturally appropriate food to under-served Black communities with low-income families, unemployed and under-employed adults, seniors citizens, new immigrants, homeless individuals and those with developmental disabilities living in Scarborough and surrounding areas such as Etobicoke and Durham Region.
